How to Register a Nested Domain With Namecheap

Step 1: Go to Namecheap.com

Open your browser and go to https://www.namecheap.com

Step 2: Search for Your Domain

On the homepage, you’ll see a search bar that says: “Register a domain name to start”

Type the full nested domain name into the bar and click the Search button.

Step 3: Check Availability

If the domain is available, you will see a green checkmark.

In this example, we checked availability for pejax.de.

Click the Add to Cart button next to the domain.

Step 4: View Cart

Click on ‘Checkout’ to proceed.

Step 5: Confirm order

Click on ‘Confirm order” to proceed.

Step 6: Log in to your existing account or create a new account

If you don’t have an account yet:

Click ‘Create an Account’

Choose a username and password, then fill in the remaining fields.

Click ‘Create Account and Continue’

Step 7: Checkout screen – finalize order

Based on the screenshot below:

A – Order Review
Summary of your current domain order. You can click Edit Cart to make changes before finalizing.

B – Domain Registration
Shows the domain name you’re about to register, the registration period (usually 1 year), and the cost.

C – Whois Contact Details
Displays the contact info that will be associated with the domain. You can click Change to edit this before purchase.

D – Payment Method
Shows the payment method you selected (credit card, PayPal, etc.). You can update it by clicking Change.

E – Renewal Settings
Tells you if automatic renewal is turned on. If not, you’ll need to manually renew the domain after 1 year.

F – Issue Receipt For
Specifies who will receive the receipt (billing info or company name).

Final Step:
Click the red “Pay Now” button to complete your domain purchase.

After payment is made, you’ll receive confirmation that your domain was successfully registered.
